The Great American Foodie Fest is a multi-day event in Las Vegas that features gourmet and specialty food trucks, carnival rides, a beer garden, eating contest, vendor booths, and live entertainment.

The event showcases the best unique & innovative food vendors to hungry attendees. Top gourmet food trucks from all around the country attend each year.

Digitize the event to shorten line times

The Great American Foodie Fest was looking for new ways to improve the overall event experience for their attendees. Some of the challenges they faced included limited cash flow, long lines at the entrance, vendor control, and event app development.

Digital ticketing platform. Being able to pre-sell tickets online made a huge difference for attendees as they checked in at the event. Cutting down line times and ultimately providing a smoother attendee experience.

Attendee check-in app. Event staff used mobile devices to scan ticketing QR codes. This reduced long lines and improved the attendee experience.

On-site event setup and support trailer. SpinGo deployed a team of onsite event staff and the SpinGo trailer, which was equipped with a sound system, event signage, an 80-inch TV, swag, and refreshments to keep attendees informed, engaged, and entertained.

Online ticket sales gave the event early revenue so they didn’t have to rely on loans, significantly decreased time spent waiting in line since attendees were able to check in digitally.

Online ticket sales improved the event experience for both the event makers and the attendees. It enabled the event makers to collect money from pre-sale tickets and avoid costly loans, while it allowed attendees to purchase tickets online and skip the line.

With online ticketing, The Great American Foodie Fest collected email addresses of the attendees that bought online so they could get a head start on marketing their next event.
